Zip Thanks Sutekh for your usual informative presentation. Wigan’s away record is worse than ours. It’s atrocious. This is very winnable. If it goes well we could reach the starry heights of 19th.

It is atrocious - also worth noting that they picked up 16 of their 36 points in their first 9 games ( W5 D1 L3).

Since the win against Bristol City on 21st September their record is:

P26 W4 D8 L14 Pts 20

Only 2 of those wins have come since November. Points to a home win - so 1-1 it is.

Hound
I’d not bring Rino straight back in to be honest - not after 3-4 weeks out. Baker has done ok in that CM spot. Undoubtedly he’d end up back in sooner rather than later though

+1, I wouldn't want to throw him str8 back in either. If he was fit -> 20 minutes off the bench (depending on game situation) -> game time for U23s -> back in the starting XI.

Wigan's Danny Fox will miss the game through injury. Also Paul Cook says there's a couple of knocks that have been suffered to his players that he won't reveal beforehand for fear of giving to much advantage to Reading.

Danny Fox being injured is an advantage to them tbh.

The young man certainly did have a stinker on his last visit.

Instead of playing the game tomorrow, can they just put up a big screen and let us watch that play off semi final all over again..

My all time favourite match at the Madkeski.. That night was why we all love football!

Meite posted a picture with Kipre tonight. Fine being mates, but it's wet as fck doing the "footy friends" spiel before such an important game. Instagram really does make players look thick as mince.

Who is Kipre? Let me guess, you’re going to say he plays for Wigan aren’t you..? Oh well, if so, at least Wigan fans would say the same about Kipre.

I was sat next to a couple of old geezers that night. Got chatting at half time and found one was Gordon Cummings, my first ever RFC ‘hero’ and great winger from the 70’s. That was a real honour.

Mo in for Nelson is the only change

Reading: Martínez, Yiadom, Blackett, Moore (c), Miazga, Ejaria, Baker, Swift, McCleary, Barrow, Méïté.
Subs: Walker, Gunter, McShane, Harriott, East, Olise, Loader.

Wigan Athletic: Jones, Morsy (c), James, Byrne, Robinson, Dunkley, Olsson, Jacobs, Massey, Powell, Garner.
Subs: Evans, Kipre, Naismith, Gibson, Roberts, Windass, Clarke.

Note both Olise and East on bench
