Don't bite!
Not a bad result with the options we have at this time
I would have bitten your hand off for this before the game with the injuries we have.

The Enfield Royal71 Jesus wept that was utterly abysmal. I assume none of you actually went to the game?! RTG MUCH!

We may as well throw in the towel now and welcome the might of Scunthorpe, Lincoln and Accrington to the Mad Stad next season.

Gomes OUT!!!!

Prick

 just ruffling some feathers me old mukka!

Yeah, but you used to flip flop about all the time with this sort of kneejerk gibberish in your former incarnations so it's no surprise some might think you're being a twat again.

Still, a good if not unexpected point.

Of slight interest - the Brum, Brentford and Hull results basically finish their season. Nothing to play for now

WBA likely to be safe in the play offs as well

A good but EXPECTED point one doth might say!

I have never spoken gibberish in my life before my Liverpudlian based acquaintance.

I mean Brentford and hull are still only two games off, whilst it’s unlikely I still wouldn’t say they have nothing to play for

Need nelson back more than anything, it hurts watching meite try and lead the line, I agree with Gomes that he’s better as a winger, having no striker is really detrimental to us right now

Just heard he’s out for 10 weeks, probably the rest of the season

On paper maybe, but seeing the teams above and the form they are on - no chance. And they’ll know that really

Nelson out for 10 weeks? Bloody hell

marcusopp Meite looked decent as a long front man. Their defenders couldn't deal with him.

He didn't score though.
When I used to play up front, and we drew a game 0-0, I was always sick to my stomach. I knew my teammates behind me had given us a great chance to win, they had all done their job with the shutout (esp in an away game), but I hadn't done mine and I had let them down.
If Oliviera plays today, reckon we win that. But Gomes said its 'highly doubtful' he'll be ready after the break, it's a 'very bad' injury. Oh, and Bod is a long way off.

Meanwhile, Novakovich scored again yesterday.

I wonder if we can recall Ben house from Swindon? He’s not getting a look in there, although that begs the question if he can’t get a game there, will he be anywhere near ready here

It’s just so painful watching meite or loader lead the line, meites first touch bounces 30 yards ahead of him and loader clearly hasn’t shown enough so far. Think we’re in real trouble now :(

Side note, are there any other strikers we have from the academy that could be able to play a role?

Yep and an assist

McNulty has scored 7 in 7

Do Yiadom went DM?

Seems a reasonable option. Slightly surprised he hasn’t used it before

If (unlikely) Brum get points deducted this season, they've got plenty to play for.

He may be better there, but he doesn't really look like a winger to me. Doesn't really have the physique or attributes (pace). Starting to think they play him there just to get him on the park for his (sometimes) aerial ability at both ends. Oh, and because someone gave him a 4 year extension this season.

I’m not sure what contract the previous manager gave him has much influence on what position Gomes picks him tbf, or else McNulty would be leading the line
