Just saw that on the BBC site. Can't decide if it's a misunderstanding around country of birth or plain racism.
He'll be hung out to dry as an example no doubt anyway to show that Russia really isn't racist at all!!

The name is a reference to the town's association with biscuit making: for many years, the town of Reading was home to the Huntley & Palmers biscuit factory, makers of HobNob biscuits.

Hendo I like how they are not sure on why the name.
If they took the time to do a 10 second wiki search, they would've found out.The name is a reference to the town's association with biscuit making: for many years, the town of Reading was home to the Huntley & Palmers biscuit factory, makers of HobNob biscuits.

Royal & Ancient Hate to throw a spanner in but Hob Nobs are,and were, made by McVities,no connection to Huntley and Palmers.
H &P were well known for ginger nuts or more appropriately for the broken biscuits which seemed to be part of employees perks and fed most of Reading. Those were the days.

And yes, Edinburgh Live - you can quote me on that, as I am sure you asked the other posters if they could be quoted in your article
