URZZZZ Of course he was correct. There's no need to show off about it.

What? So if he hadn’t have ‘shown off’ about it, you’d have been back in here (at some point) to give him props?
So his ‘crime’ was not revealing his sources to you? Why would he? So you can be first with the news instead?
He was right, you were wrong. Address him.

Yet more nonsense from you. I've already said he was right, what else do you want me to do?

Probably wouldn't have "gave him props" because I forgot I made the comment, but now he's quoted me I'll say congratulations LWJ for being correct.

As I said, if you don't say what your sources are, it generally makes what you say a lot less believable. Otherwise anyone could make up anything and no-one could disprove it

Nonsense? As I said, if it weren't for me, and him, you wouldn't have said anything (for which, he's 'showing off').
Deliveries aside, you're glad someone reminded you? How else may they have done it?
Yes, of course, some people in here make up shit. It turns out, however, he didn't. And, we're most appreciative.
I responded to you re. that post alone, and have given you props elsewhere.
Appreciate your overall commentary on me. I'll give you mine of you at some point.
Anyway, lost in all this, thx LWJ. Keep posting.

Why feel the need to direct quote though? He could just have quoted his original post instead, rather than quoting individually to the posters who didn't believe it

Looking forward to your view, let's hope it's not as much nonsense as 90% of your normal posts

 8)

It's too bad you forgot, and that you are now taking issue with the 'delivery' of his reminder.
If you're talking about cred, he was in here a long time before you were. Just saying.
And, with him not telling you all his sources, do you suppose your reproach would entice him to?

I didn't ask for all his sources. All I'm saying is if you put a statement like that with no backbone to it, people aren't going to believe it, especially given some of the lies posted on this message board before. He doesn't have to give his exact source, why would he? Just give us a clue to make it more believable

Was he correct? Yes, of course, that's there to see in black and white. But the way he's directly quoted my post saying hmmmmm gives me the impression he thinks I was wrong to doubt him and strikes as a hint of arrogance. Yeah, make people aware, whatever, but there are ways and means of going about it

Anyway, this has gone on for long enough and is a bit of a ridiculous debate to be having. What do you think of Swift missing anyway? Big miss or is Ejaria good enough to fill his shoes?

There are ways and means of going about everything. For everyone.
Not sure what 'clue', for everyone, would suffice?
Be that as it may, maybe he'll be more trusted going forward.
Arrogance? Er, not going there.

Right now I'm unsure of Ejaria, in that role anyway. Still, he's made strides in recent weeks. I suppose the next 4 games are big for him, as I suppose they are for many. Quite a few will want to impress and prove they belong, etc. We keep saying we won't be able to sign all 5 (actually 6), and maybe they all know it too. At the end of the season, maybe we'll re-do that 'priority' list again re. the loanees. (Baker, who at one point was last, is now in first place for some?).

Ejaria still takes too many risks with the ball in dangerous areas, but he's improving in that stead. Doesn't have the dead ball skills of Swift, (or at least, we have no evidence that he does) but if we get Baker, we don't need Swift.

For me, the thing with Ejaria is he is still very much a work in progress. Swift is that bit older, so not so much - this is probably his level.

Yep, good points.
As some have rightly said, it's unusual to have 6 loanees turnout as good as they have. You can really make a case for any/all of them. A nice 'problem' to have, I suppose. As long as we make the right choices.

Baker and Swift play in different positions? Baker is one of the deep lying midfielders, Swift plays behind the striker so don't think it's necessarily a case of one or the other

Didn't actually realise Ejaria was only 21, feel like his name has been thrown about for a while. Wouldn't be too fussed either way if we get him or not, he's got quick feet and gets out of sticky situations well, but he doesn't really seem to add much in terms of goals and assists

Didn't mean it like that - I meant as well as Swift playing in his position, he also is a dead ball specialist. But Baker can do that part of Swift's role - without taking over his position.

Yeah, sorry get you now

Well I'm glad we're already safe!

Oliveira - out for rest of season and has gone back to Norwich. There's a deal in place with Norwich, but sounds like not acheivable unless we sell somebody.
Meite - out for rest of season
Blackett - hamstring injury, likely out for rest of season
O Shea - running outside
McShane - light training - can't see either of these featuring
Swift, as we know already - out for rest of season

Bod - training - may be back for the last game

yep. injuries have again been horrendous this season. The single biggest reason we've been so poor this season imo. How much different it may have been had Obita, Ezatolohi, Bod, Meite and Baldock been fit all season.

Surely if there was a deal in place for NO, it would be something which has already been agreed and therefore budgeted for, thus outside the need to sell players.
