RichTea94 FWIW the steward wouldn't let me store my suitcase anywhere, so I ended up hiding it in a hedge behind the carpark.

Enjoyed myself in the South Stand on Sunday, was significantly louder further up the stand where I went in the second half.

is that bit true? If so, if the police had come across that it'd potentially have caused all sorts of trouble

Yes because everyone knows the best place to put an explosive device at a football game with a large crowd to cause the most amount of harm, is behind a hedge in a car park outside near no one.

Platypuss As a Dolan ender, the change has been marked.
Never used to hear a peep out of the East Stand (probs acoustics), but now there is some decent atmosphere being gener8d in the South it's even encouraging noise at the other end.
I think part of that is acoustics, I sit in the Lower West near the away end/opposite the Y24 area of the East Stand.
I wouldn't say the noise is louder, but the East Stand is quieter now - probably because a number of them have moved to the South Stand/Club 1871 area..... same noise, just redistributed around the ground.

Having sat/stood in both sections the noise in the South is considerably louder on a game to game basis. I suspect you may be thinking back to the odd game when Y25/26 was at its best, which sadly doesn’t happen often enough anymore, whereas the South is more consistent in that respect.

Lets see how many of those 500 are still there when we are 22nd after 3 months of the season.

I for one have given up my ST in favour of the mighty forest green rovers.

If anything you said was anything but fantasy, this would be great news for all at RFC.

C1871 renewal complete.

Here's to higher than 17th and double figure home wins with a bit of luck.

On the basis of last season I'd expect the numbers to rise to well over 500 if that were the case. You don't really get it do you....
