BR0B0T
i'll put that down to sunstroke...

the average prem keeper is 6ft3, Bardlesly is 5ft9 and Hjelmseth is 5ft7

average 6ft man has a reach of 8ft which luckily is the height of the crossbar

I thought we were in the era of equality.
You want equality, use the same pitch, goals, etc.

You'll be telling me next that Wimbledon need different size courts for women

AthleticoSpizz
Hendo
AthleticoSpizz then of course there will be the youth game, typically U13s who play on full size pitches with full size goals, anon anon

Never played on a full sized pitch playing youth football or cricket and I am sure the goals were about 75% normal size.
my lad did with Kennet Valley U13s,14s etc

OK, its 5+ years back but on my coaching courses, they really stressed a move away from kids playing in full-size pitches and goals.

I am guessing there's an age difference thing going on here.

Pitch and goal sizes have been reduced for kids football.

Netherlands and Italy looked no great shakes today. Netherlands certainly beatable.

US obviously a huge challenge, but get past them and there's a strong chance ICH.

Good thing the swedes won.

If we can stick it to the us and hit them hard and fast, it WILL be coming home. And I will eat humble pie and my hat as I'm sure millions would.

It would be the best thing to happen to our game in my lifetime so far that's for sure.

Come on England! Lets do what England couldn't do last year and get England to the final. I just hope England don't do a typical England like England did last year and bottle it.

Boy England's defence look all over the shop. The centre backs look like they have never played together before.

That one on the right side for usa is very good. Nice nutmeg.

Our defence look nervy.

Oh dear..... nice skill and cross and header.

Sigh.

You get excitement and opportunities in non league football, and I don't watch that.

Have had people today convincing me women's football is much better, but LOL at that really

......plus I can't adjust to the high pitched noise when there an attack

Millie Bright really is awful.

Bronze has to take some blame for the goal. Looked over her shoulder to see where the scorer was and still let her in.

2 years ago I watched forest green vs yeovil. I thought that was terrible. Some of the football in this wc was atrocious.

This game is probably on par with a league 2/NATIONAL LEAGUE game

Very good goal. May settle the nerves they have had so far in the game.
