Hound watching the highlights of the Brum friendly didn't exactly fill me with hope on him tbh. Couple of decent shots/passes but he is seriously lacking in mobility. Looked like a dad playing in a 'dads vs lads' game.

I see him as a plan B. Chuck him and Nova' and any other big lumps we have on, and play for free kicks and corners.

Hard to win free kicks in good areas when one of your CMs cant pass the ball. Also is hit and hope the best plan b we can think of?

Rino doesn't need to pass the ball, he can just win the free kicks himself.

Even though I know this is a joke I do believe Rinomhota can do everything by himself so I'm no longer worried about our midfield. The title is wrapped up.

It's one of those jokes that contains the truth, Rino is really good at drawing fouls. He's not that good at passing but make up for that in other ways. He had good synergy with Baker and could replicate that with Adam.

oxf*rd me Adam looked off the pace against Brum. Might as well have been in an arm chair half the time.

You know I never said he was a good signing or the club were right in their assessment, yeah?

Just agreed with papes that a moneyball signing isn't o e of exclusively looking at good recent stats.

Chillax Brother Ian...i was just throwing a LOLF bomb into the mix!

Also, there's an element of survivorship bias to Beane's moneyball.

He may just have got lucky with signings like...Coppell in 05/06

If we’re being generous then I think we can say Adam hasn’t had the benefit of a full pre season. He looked “chunky” in the Marc McNulty fashion. Felt sorry for Ryan East having to do the work of two players

He stood out second half. Question your “opinion” based on this post.

Adams looks another shrewd signing. We've some promising players. Having him in the squad will be a bonus when morale drops. At least tried to play outballs up the pitch to try and turn the Chelsea defence.
