This is pretty solid evidence that that he chose a move over staying.

In my, completely speculative, opinion the fact he's gone on loan means he was more than likely on a serious wedge here and no one was willing to offer it to him AND pay us a reasonable amount. I'm guessing, that the turks have taken on his full wage and paid a modest loan fee. Like most things, we'll probably never know!

Because the fees offered for G & GMac were 'derisory' from what I've heard - they knew we wanted to offload and hence tried to get them for very little, whereas for Barrow we've been offered a very decent deal ... because he was not surplus to requirements.

then it makes a mockery of ostracising both of them. Keep them in and around the first team squad during pre season and hopefully clubs would have been duped a little
