StellaPlease Winston Biscuit Cant help but think Bury's low attendances, and proximity to other big clubs, may well not help a Phoenix club progress too far
Their hardcore of support will follow them.
They'll probably start at step 5 of the non league and average crowds if around 1700 ish as most do when they go bust.
Remember going to watch Aldershot in the early days after they went bust and had crowds of 1800 and taking 1000 to away games locally.
AFC took around 1000 to Sandhurst.
There will certainly be a core support that follow them. But how big that support is after a season of no football while they wait?
I am not trying to poo poo the idea btw (I actually think it sounds more fun than just bouncing between L1 & L2) but I think they are right up against it as they are already one of the smaller football league clubs
They would certainly be a giant in whatever div they have to start in, but I wouldnt expect to see them in the Conf pushing for promotion to the EFL for a long, long time (if ever)
