The Enfield Royal71 I forgot that if you have a different opinion to somebody on here you must be a troll.

Yeah. Listening to some of their comments, you'd genuinely believe they were loud.

All I heard was Charlton.

In their defence you can hear them on the highlights on youtube (yes before the first goal mostly). I understand they can be a little embaressing sometimes, but I think it is still better than the alternative (a completely quiet stadium with a few people taunting the away fans in y26). I agree its not ideal but its the best this club can manage after 2 years of depressing football..

Club 1871 dictating to fans how to celebrate and to not go towards the away fans. Trying to ruin the organic atmosphere and elation of scoring a goal after being goaded all game by away fans.

Club 1871 also on Twitter getting extremely argumentative with fans and sarcastic and putting people down. I don't think the club would want to see this on social media by a fan led group. Pretty disgusting behaviour.

Imagine being a grown adult making troll posts for over a year about a group of fans because you don't feel as special as them. Pathetic.

Ear muffs on? Or, not actually there at all?
Yep, Charlton fans were loud, but definitely could hear C1871, North Stand and Y26 at intervals - and of those 3, C1871 was the loudest and most consistent.

The whole stadium was quiet apart from the Charlton lot imo.

I was looking over and you could hear the Charlton fans but only see the 1871 lot clapping happily.

The numbers are there but the noise has just dropped off completely.

When I did hear 1871 it was purely rhythmic clapping, which is shit.

F[u]cking hell you have a hard on for Charlton.

Like most fans of the other clubs in this division, bar Leeds, they sang for the first 10 minutes and then barely made any noise until they were winning.

That's not to say C1871 made a huge amount of noise either.

It must be purely down to the top being closed and how that affected the sound travelling as where I was sat, bottom of C1871, the noise was great and constant for all of first half with barely any chanting heard from the away stand. Either way, who really gives a oxf*rd. The atmosphere was unanimously shit before and now its just subjectively shit. Sounds like an improvement.

I think the best thing the C1871 organisers can do now is stop engaging with the supporters who have objections to what they are doing. The success levels are there to see with the numbers rising from 50 to 1,500 in the space of a year, so they shouldn’t feel the need to justify themselves when people make comments about what they do or don’t do.

The people who have comments against what C1871 are doing either have a genuine bone of contention or are just on the wind up, either way, they’re entitled to voice their opinion. There’s no right or wrong answer, and the organisers responding to every bit of criticism is just resulting in this cycle of inane chat that could potentially go on forever.
