Gomes going for broke again with two forwards replacing a centre back and a CDM.

How many times has the phrase Boye’s given it away been heard?

Sounds an awful game between two pretty awful sides.

With the games coming up, Reading could well be bottom 3 by the next international break.

Anyone else getting the feeling that whilst Gomes was the one to bring back some positivity to the club he may not be the one to take it to the next stage?

I agree, loved that he is by all, there are some seeds of doubt now that he isn`t the one to take us forward.

Same old problems. Sloppy and careless passing and barely any threat.

Depends on what your ambitions for this season are. Anyone who thinks we should be challenging top 6 is a bit naive IMO but we have enough about us to be in no real danger of relegation and fairly comfortably mid table, which given the last 2 seasons, is progress.

This is still a side that has only played 5 games together and we are missing a key piece if our defence.

We've had 17 shots to their 10, the feed I'm reading makes out we're having plenty of action and nothing coming back at us, has that been a fair reflection?

Puscas seems like he should have started...

On the stats and JLow commentary alone certainly doesn’t sound like a game we should have lost

Frustrating stuff 18/7 shots/on target compared to 10/2

Abysmal. Blame squarely rests on Boye who oxf*rd up every attacking movement we tried all game. Even after he went off his spirit stayed on the pitch infecting us with his crap football.

No last thing we need. Some stability and long term plan needed
