No leadership from Moore, and no coincidence he is our worst defender. His sense of positioning is dreadful and he has zero awareness of where the threats are. If I was the manager, he'd be the first to go. Just awful.

WestYorksRoyal This is the night the tide turns for Gomes. Another woeful home performance. I'm sure plenty will support giving him more time after his job last season, but more fans will turn and will continue to change their mind with every bad performances. The owners will start questioning the wisdom of sticking with him given money they have invested. Another month of this and he's gone. You may lament it or disagree about whether he should go, but it's the nature of the game these days.

I'm not sure they'll wait a month. Shame because I thought Gomes was the second coming but it's gone tits up for him big time.

Sadly I’m enjoying this season even less than at this stage last year

No doubts it’ll get shouted down but I genuinely felt Clement had at least some semblance of a plan and how we were going to move forward - with far shitter players than we have now

Sadly beyond coming in and putting a smile on a few faces last year, I’m not sure Gomes has much of a clue

Some genuine first half thoughts:

Moore looks half the player he used to be. Maybe we should have taken that money.

Barrett plays too static. Reminds me of Liam Kelly. Maybe we teach that in the academy?

That is all.

Shame. Stick to the utterly useless Sky app, that is so clueless when trying to access red button games it could get a place in the Reading starting XI.

For the record fans are now starting to turn on Gomes and it’s hard to blame them given the utterly unacceptable cr@p that keeps getting served up at home.

Do you know Hound....and you know how much I hated Clement......I agree, this team is a rudderless mess. Even under Clement it wasn't this bad......

Who is around as a viable replacement? Thats the only concern. At this point you know he needs to go, but they may persist and talk to options in the meantime.

Disgraceful. First time in my life I've left a game early. I'm not watching another second of that shambles to have to stay overnight in Reading or have 4-hour journey home in the small hours.

Even before the goal or the red Fulham were carving us apart. The defending for their first was shocking. You could see the goal coming easily seconds before.

We're wide open on the flanks. We've got no presence in midfield and they all look clueless.

Gomes has managed to make a midfield of Swift and Kelly look hardcore competitive.

They're all so slow to react
Playing on their heels. No communication, no understanding. Ejaria looks utterly lost.

At least we can't play him and Swift in the same midfield next game. Simply doesn't work. You can't have 2 CAMs, 3 FWs and 2 attacking wing backs in the same side.

I don't believe in early sackings and Gomes shouldn't go yet, but if he's here at Xmas I'll be amazed. Dead man walking and rightly so at this point.

You cant lose 4 out of 5 home games.
