Reading v QPR Boxing Day moved to 7.30pm kick off for Sky TV

Would think this would serious affect the attendance being an evening kick off time on Boxing Day.

Not against that. One of the pitfalls of Boxing Day football is that I miss the day with my family so I’m not complaining.

Actually who am I kidding will 100% just watch it on sky instead. #plastic

7.30pm. Now those were the days. Not had that kick off time for a league game for getting for about 40 years now.

Will be on Lanzarote so this works quite nicely, might even be able to get to a pub to see it - would have had no chance with a 3pm kick off.

Absolutely perfect.

Never understood why football is on boxing day when the clearly better option is to drink 30 beers and eat left over turkey sandwiches at home.

Great - A boxing day family argument for me then as the wife will want me to spend the evening at home with her instead not watching it on the tv

Fcuking Skysports and the fcuking FA..... Still haven't forgiven them for scheduling games on Valentines Day.

edit - thinking about it, for the sake of a quiet life/not spoiling Christmas, I will probably miss this game unless the opportunity to attend and not piss off the wife/mess up any family plans arises.

Wow. So jealous. I would love nothing better than to be sat in an Irish bar in Lanza, in Reading FC shorts and a vest, supping John Smiths/San Miguel chalices whilst celebrating a win for my team on the box. Heaven.

Are you really a fan if you watch your team on the TV though, John?

Seems harsh considering neither of them were involved in that decision

Well...can't knock a man for being on holiday. It's a tall order for us all to be Paul Black.

I’ll be out in Cape Town for this one, so should be able to catch it on a TV somewhere, which is nice.
