URZZZZ Baldock and Ejaria should be back for selection
Obita still a doubt
Joao struggling with his knee, also a doubt
Swift out

Bowen confirms that Baldock looks set to be on the bench but Joao in contention to start.

Yep. I have no problem with him. Decent guy who does his best with limited info.

yeah yeah I get all that. The point being is to 99% people who come across him, reporting on Reading FC IS his job.

No doubts he does plenty of other stuff behind the scenes, but surely he realises it comes across as a comment open to ridicule

Not really. It’s a part time job that won’t be paying much. That inner Farage is coming out in you again.

You're missing the point though. To the majority of people that follow him/read his tweets, reporting about Reading is his main job. Irrespective of whether he has other duties to report on/carry out, it's still a strange thing to say. It would have made more sense just to have said "due to other commitments" rather than "due to work commitments"

It would have been an open invitation for the Twitter morons to attack him for having a life outside of his job. At least now, it's only the ones who think he should spend all of his worktime doing just part of his job.

yeah it was a lighthearted observation, didn't mean it as a major criticism of the guy. 'I can't do my job because I've a work commitment'....

He didn’t word it as “other work commitments” though, he said he won’t be there because of “work commitments”. I agree with the principle mind, it is insignificant but he should have worded it better especially when you consider the Twitter mongs

I wonder how much he gets paid for doing his Reading FC journo work? Genuinely no idea.

Yiadom out for "at least 6 weeks" but Swift is recovering faster than expected.

Puscas could have done his shoulder, if it`s dislocated could be a couple of months out, and Moore did his hamstring in the last few minutes, clearly seen clutching at it after the final whistle. depending how bad could be nothing a few weeks or a few months.

A good point.
He took a knock after about 60 minutes and struggled for a few more minutes but seemed to have run it off.
Then towards the end he was limping again.
I did say to my brother at the time that I hope it wasn't another Sonko moment.
