So, pretty horrific then if we're honest. 37points over the season, dead cert relegation. My farts are an improvement on how Gomes finished, that's irrelevant.

You can't just say "Let's ignore 40% of the games"

Why not ignore the most recent four games?

A manager is judged over all his games. The team will go down or stay up based on
what happened under Gomes plus ALL the games following.

The most recent games are two away draws, an away win, a narrow one
goal away defeat to Brentford, a narrow home defeat to Leeds, and just
one poor defeat, home to Birmingham.

Most sides have not-so-great runs. This run hardly stinks.

Hold on, aren't you the one who said in the past we should ignore a new manager's first two games?

Only if it suits him.

Second only to Ireland

Of course being Irish, born in Wales, well, that's a whole level higher...

Absolutely for a newly-incoming manager who needs to take time
to get to know players, coaching staff, the set-up etc

But Bowen had already worked with the Squad (with Gomes), knew the set-up
coaches, training etc etc etc. He was hardly a new manager coming in

Second, I was battered for suggesting that games should be considered neutral.

The overwhelming posted option was ALL GAMES COUNT

Or are you saying the three wins and a draw were down to GOMES?

Lol. I'm not saying anything.

You're the one who insists on putting absolutes on what we should and shouldn't consider.

And then changing it when it doesn't suit you.

Didn't think that was the case. Gomes was totally charge of first team affairs.

He did last season, but Gomes asked him not to this season, according to Bowen.

So he won't have worked with any of the new signings.
