genome I thought Haaland played for RB Leipzig, turns out no, that's RB Salzburg. Does anyone else mix those two clubs up?

Stranded See the latest plans for to revamp the CL in 2024/25 is:
Make the group stage one 32 team league.
Each side plays 10 games - against 10 teams - would imagine teams in Pot 1 (seeding will still exist) will get an easier schedule.
After 10 games, the top 8 clubs progress to the last 16.
Those finishing 9th to 24th will have a 2 legged play-off to qualify for the last 16.
Then usual knock out.
Means that finalists will play 17 games minimum, possibly 19.
Knock on in England will see all FA cup replays scrapped and the League Cup dropping the 2nd leg in the semis - could even see CL teams pulling out altogether - also some talk of dropping the PL down to 18 sides to free up fixture space.

Proposals unanimously rejected by European FA's.

Winston Biscuit UEFA pushing us further towards a 'European super league'
saying that, I have said many time that I am bang up for a complete change to the League Cup. Make it a British cup, make the early rounds regional, the FA can cover some/all of teh costs of travel if over a certain mileage for lower league clubs.

Not sure where the interest would be in a British Cup to be honest. Would you be that interested if we get to the first "national" round and get drawn at home to Inverness, Linfield or Barry Town?
Only interesting tie would be home or away (pref away) to either of Celtic or Rangers - and possibly a trip to Edinburgh, more for the city than the football.

Really?
Define the lower division side - Welsh Premier V League 2 who is lower? League 2 of the higher UEFA Coefficient league or the Welsh top flight?
Scottish Prem v Championship - who is Lower? Championship is probably the stronger division but Scots Prem is again the top flight. Where is in the interest in Blackburn getting a home tie against Kilmarnock? or vice versa

The N.Ireland Premier League will be chuffed. Fair listing but would have the WPL ahead of the Scottish lower divisions.
British Cup is one of those things that in theory sounds great but realistically will be absolute bobbins - there will be no interest in fixtures not involving the big 6 in England and the 2 Old Firm clubs. Lower league clubs often struggle to sell tickets to cup games v PL sides as people expect the kids. Add in to the mix that the bigger clubs in England may not even enter and its dead before it even begins IMO.Winston BiscuitWhere is in the interest in Blackburn getting a home tie against Kilmarnock?

So cheap tickets and vast empty stands then?
