Hard to see the starting line up changing although I am not sure about Charlie Adam's defensive capabilities.. 2 pretty similar teams, could go either way so I am going to go for a food induced coma like 1-1.

Also.. The hoops are ours, we all know it. Even my QPR supporting friends have stopped arguing.

royalp-we We’ve had quite a few incidents with referee James Linington over the years. In recent times Jaap Stam openly criticised him for being too lenient.

Then there was the Fulham game at home, which he abandoned at half time due to fog.

Also tried to give Alex Pearce(?) a red card in 2011 - only to have lost his cards somewhere on the pitch (the players weren’t going to fess up  ) so had to ask the linesman to give him his marching orders...

Hope he makes the game as not sure the ferries are running.

Only Barnsley and Luton have conceded more goals than the fakes this season.

That is good news. Hopefully Joao, Baldock and Meote are willing to shoot.

So, esp. as it’s in the telly, a nailed on 0-0 then.

What will the attendance be ? I reckon 10000 including 800 QPR. We have 8 season tickets in 1871 i am the only one going because of the stupid time.

Why is it a "stupid time"? You're talking rubbish.

19:30 is a ridiculous time for football on Boxing Day, every game should be 3pm

I’m going to go but not happy about the kick off time. We would have had a good gate for a 3pm start. Now I think we will struggle to get beyond 10,000.

Yep. Agreed. I’m contemplating not going to be honest, I really wish one day Sky take the fans into account before they make ridiculous decisions like this

The Royal Forester When we played QPR earlier this season, someone asked which of us are the original hoops. Since then I have found a couple of websites that may give the answer.
http://www.kitclassics.co.uk and http://www.historicalkits.co.uk
They both say our colours in 1871-72 were blue and white hoops (but don't agree how many hoops there were). Then our strips were unknown for about 20 years. We wore vertical stripes from the start of the 20th century until 1938 and have worn hoops since, except for a few seasons in the 1950's 1960's and 1980's.
For QPR one site says they wore hoops from 1892, the other says 1897. They have also worn plain shirts on the odd occasion since then. If QPR fans disregard our 1871-2 hoops, some people reckon we did not play any games that season, (does anyone know if this is true?), they still cannot claim to be the ORIGiNAL hoops, as both Preston North End and WBA wore them in 1882, also Aston Villa wore them in 1877 and 1881. There may have been more teams wearing hoops around that time, but I only clicked on a few teams that I knew were around then.
So. it seems our colours, even if we did not wear them, make US THE ORIGINAL HOOPS.

QPR fans know that but they like to wind us up.

As we are Royals we are allowed to wear our home hoops even when playing away, and if we choose to do so our opposition is obliged to provide our players with hula hoops pre-match.

I suppose it does give fans the chance to do something with the family during the day before going to the match. Also, if you enjoy sitting in a pub all boxing day this is perfect :D

And it's not like the away fans have far to travel.

It's not ideal I guess, but hardly the end of the world. I imagine that there are more people who are happy that it's on tv than fans upset about the time change.

Bloody Baldock injured again from the look of it. Always feel much less confident without him in there and presume Meite up front - unless he is doing something with Ovie CF or something similar

Bit annoying tbh

McCleary has disappeared as well. Wonder if players are being rested.
