Miazga - possible hamstring problem similar to earlier in the season when he came off at Huddersfield, rested today as a precaution and needs to be monitored to see if it settles down
McIntyre - has hamstring problem suffered playing for U23s earlier this week
Puscas has a dislocated shoulder, thought originally that op would be needed and therefore would be out for about 3 months. Club have taken further advice and it maybe that it will settle down with rest meaning perhaps 3 weeks or so. Have to wait and see.
Swift - the good news (touchwood) progressing really well, reasonable chance he may play some part against QPR or even on the bench v Derby.

Awful news on Puscas. Horrible time for an injury for us and him. Hope he doesnt require an op. It was a pretty poor challenge too, not something you would expect to injure this badly but careless for sure.

Swift should be back for Saturday (fingers crossed) and has trained this week
Puscas should be able to get away with having injections but is seeing the specialist again tomorrow
Miazga thought he pulled his hamstring but the scan results came back neutral

Well he played on so not sure how bad it is, he had the same earlier in the season and didn`t miss any games, shouldn`t think he will be inclused Saturday.

Moore will surely have surgery this summer. Hopefully he can play through until then.

Well he played on so not sure how bad it is, he had the same earlier in the season and didn`t miss any games, shouldn`t think he will be inclused Saturday.

It seems that unless his arm becomes physically detached Moore is determined to keep playing.
Even if his arm did come off completely I reckon he’d still play but wouldn’t take throws.
Can’t recall a player battling through with such an injury since Tony Witter competed a game despite breaking his leg....

Joao out for 2 months. He is very important to this formation. I'd almost be tempted to go back to 352, as Puscas and Baldock work well in that system.

Think it will be a loan. Makes perfect sense. Interesting that we have several options up front, but only Joao really fulfills the role we need in this system. Murray would also fit in to the current system well.

Would mean readjusting the formation though. Should only resort to that if we go on an awful run/if Swift gets injured again. Neither ideal

I just feel that whilst he wouldn’t be a bad signing at all, we should look for someone perhaps with more pace. Already we have a pretty slow team, replacing Joao with Murray really won’t help it

Pace is obviously valuable, but what the system really needs to a striker who can hold the ball up, link up play intelligently and physically compete with centre backs. Murray can do all this and is an excellent finisher to boot. His experience and nous will make up for a lack of pace. He would be a quality signing. More to the point, any player with all those attributes plus pace and the ability to run in behind will be a PL player. I'd love to see Ings, but let's be realistic. Are we going to see the annual Long rumour resurface too?

Puscas can inject some pace and running in behind from the bench if we feel the game needs that.
