John Smith IF we win the replay, does Bowen put out a full strength side for the next round?

As he said after the last round, it depends who we get drawn against.

Keep up Smithy, you Clown.

Why are you offending John for talking about the FA Cup? You have anger issues.

Depends who we draw tonight. Although I would suggest it doesn't matter who it is, he won't be putting out the full strength XI.

This.

Platypuss Want: Portsmouth at home.
Will invariably get: Sheffield United away.

Almost prophetic Platy.

Decent draw if we get through. Sheffield United will see it as a good chance to progress though, they will probably turn up here with a very strong side considering they are very safe from relegation.

And as you’d all probably guess ManU will get to play Rooney County in the next round (presuming they can beat Northampton at home)

can only hope Rooney picks up an injury to keep him out of the tie so we don't have to deal with the build up.

I think we stand very little chance of winning the replay. It will be a 1-0 defeat with a goal late on,

Not the sort of game we tend to be involved in though.
Opposition score a late goal tends to lead to us getting a draw....

Agree John, I think the cup run will be over for another season.

First sensible thing you've said in a long time, JS. Maybe you have finally left the Clowning business to all the other Clowns in the Clowning business.

Although I fear this awful competition has already distracted us too much from what was a relentless march towards play off winning immortality.

Hmm,not a great draw.

Neither a glamour tie or lower league drop outs,we can easily get past.

On this seasons evidence Sheffield Utd will be very tough.

What is a "lower league drop out" and why would it be easy?

Of course it will be tough if we get there, they are in the top 10 of the Premier League but it will unlikely be their full first 11 so a home tie is winnable. This of course depends on us getting there first and what team we put out.

Being honest, not sure its the sort of game what will entice Bowen into playing a strong XI in the replay

A Liverpool or Arsenal away for example - he probably would have
A Portsmouth at home - he probably would have

But not sure Sheffield United really fit into the category of either of them. I guess, like before, it could also depend on the next two fixtures which give us a good opportunity to close the gap against two sets of disgruntled fans at the moment
