Gunter off
Thought he looked really good But at least we get to see the new guy

Great first pass from Araruna puts Baldock in

This is a really hard watch. I cannot understand the obsession with this formation. It just does not work with this group of players

On a positive note, Araruna has looked decent so far

Yeh it's just not looking effective and Hull are strolling though it with ease

Very mixed first half.

We're playing very high, with Swift and Ejaria pushed right up on the front two, which means the defence is playing a high line, but despite that there's still a big gap between them and midfield, so we're wide open on every break. It also means we have no space. And we're mainly static. Midfield needs to drop off more so we can open them and play through. Right now there's no space at all.

Swift is having a casual day. We're a bit too intricate. Meite and Baldock don't know when to time their runs because the ball is often delayed, and aren't really playing together. Ejaria flattering once again.

Feels like we could concede on any attack, but equally all we need is one ball to fall in the right place for us. Araruna looks handy, but not being used anywhere near as much as Gunter (who was once again mr check back and safe pass)... looks a wee bit uncertain at times.

Up the tempo, invite them out a bit and tighten up at the back, whip the crosses in early and we've got more than enough to win this.

Oh yeah, Hull are playing with a lot of width which is totally exploiting our wing backs playing high.

It's like watching a more competent version of the shambles Gomes served up at the start of the season where Yiadom started in the final third and Moore was all over the shop next to him getting torn apart on the flanks.

I dont think Hull have exploited our flanks once? Most their chances have been balls over the top.

Maddison off? Seems odd. Hes been their best player.

Edit: wrong number from official.. Batty off.

Like the look of Araruna a lot
Great skill and getting stuck in with some good tackles
But most of all great awareness of the game and what is happening around him and where he should be.
