Royals and Racers Finally on Wednesday 11th the Royals get to play a game in the competition !!!! We are away to Marlow FC (Oaktree road Marlow sl7 3ed)
KO 7.45pm. I would imagine we will put out on the pitch a composite U18/23 side. This game is a Quarter final tie which if level at 90 mins goes straight to Pens. At the moment there is no indication from either club what the admission prices for the tie are.Hopefully a fair few Royals fans will make the short trip to support the lads.

...I'm sure I've drivelled on over on the GF/NL thread about Marlow's ground for yonks .... but the Alfred Davis Memorial is a real treasured relic.
High stepped steep seated stand on half way above a cozy enough bar that does a great line in local Rebellion Ales.
The food outlet here is also one of the best locally whether it's Kat's Kitchen or one of the other mobile grill outlets they get In from time to time.
Plenty of standing cover too should it be a bit damp.
Parking slightly limited - but a fair amount of street parking further up OT Road.
Travel tip : as you drive in towards the town centre from the A404(M) - look for the Garage on the right-hand side - take the road alongside this, head straight over the next crossroads and you are in Oak Tree Road.
Haven't seen Marlow play yet this season H or A: they are in Bracknell's division, Ryman One South Central, sitting about 10th when I last looked .
Their manager ex-Reading Town boss Mark Bartley, usually produces hard-working, durable sides that can hold their own against the bigger clubs at STEP04 but lack a certain something when it comes to progressing up the pyramid. They are not without a bit of flair but are currently quite well-disciplined - if occasionally abrasive - something they have not been in recent years.
They are having a slightly hot/cold season, trailing back a bit from the PO spots but in no danger of the drop.
Not sure how they will treat the B&B but I'd expect them to be amenable hosts off the pitch and 'Barts' will have his lads fired up for the test against league opposition.

Royals and Racers Looks as if the farcical situation of the clash of shirts between Reading and the referee could be blamed on Reading. No teams in Berks and Bucks cup matches are allowed to wear black or any other very dark colour. Reading could be fined for the match starting late whilst they resolved the issue( Reading wore Marlow’s
2nd kit.)
