Enjoying or hating the no football era?

Quite enjoying it so far.

But realising how much I relied on TV football for my end-of-day excitement .

And how often I logged on to HNA. However, now it's a case of "one thread, you've only got one thread".

For the time being I'm avoiding live football substitutes like re-runs of old matches, old DVDs / videos, anything on Sky / BT.

Will crack tomorrow as Netflix are showing a re-enactment of the epoch-marking 1883 FA Cup Final featuring those Berkshire-ish boys, the Old Etonians.

Should send Sandman into a frenzy.

Football is pretty low down my list of concerns at the best of times.

At these, shall we say "sub-optimal" times that remains the case. That said, glad I got in the trip to Brum before the shutdown.

I mate of mine generally takes the last 2-3 weeks off in March, and spends his time going to non-league football up and down the country.

I can't imagine he's too chuffed currently.

I love watching Reading and England play, don't really care about watching other football. If I don't have emotional investment, football isn't that interesting for me.
