Sanguine Harsh on Posh, but an inevitability given the costs involved in 'safely' completing fixtures.
Bolton, Southend and Tranmere go down.

And Oxford face Wycombe in the play-off semis. :)

Actually as far as I can tell the games are

Fleetwood (6th) v Wycombe (3rd)
Portsmouth (5th) v Oxford (4th)

Hoping either Fleetwood or Wycombe win promotion.

Yeah, Wycombe enjoying PPG! Would also like to see Wycombe come up - would it be their first season in the second tier?

Yes. Wycombe’s highest ever league placing before this season (2019/2020) was 6th in Divsion 3 (currently league 1) in 1994/1995. Like Reading’s lack of automatic promotion that season, Wycombe suffered by missing out on the play offs due to the league restructure.

Have no enthusiasm at all for the Premier League returning, probably won't even watch the games today. Just think it is all a bit pointless and redundant.

Have no problem with others that are ambivalent but, since I would have used sport to fill hours if I was at home ill, I'm looking forward to sport filling a few hours when I'm not.

For those that are not interested, you know where the channel changing or off buttons are.

Agreed to a degree. May well watch some of the relegation battles as they’ll be far more interesting to watch than clubs battling for 3rd, 4th or 5th place. Of course Sky will try and tell you otherwise.

I'm absolutely thrilled at the return of people saying they don't care about the Premier League

^Indeed.

I'll be sat on the sofa with a Moretti at 6pm for Villa v Sheff Utd, and will stretch my legs briefly before City v Arsenal. Can't bloody wait.

Also - UEFA have confirmed plans for closing out the Europa League and Champions League, with 'final eight' tournaments to be held for both over the course of 12 days - all QFs and SFs to be one-legged ties, and all games in the CL to be played at Benfica's Estadio Sport Lisboa.

They do have some second leg round of 16 ties still to resolve.

+1. Currently trying to convince Mrs K that her parents should come round and sit in the garden on Saturday not Sunday so I can milk Father's Day for the full sat on the sofa watching every match Super Sunday experience.

Jesus this is dull.......
Just went onto the Black Lives Matter website out of curiosity. First thing I see "Defund the Police" petition.....followed by various bits about destroying capitalism etc.
How was this ever allowed that they wear a Marxist/anarchist slogan on their shirts? Did the EPL actually do any homework? If the shirts said Say No to Racism.....no problem.....but multi millionaires running around with an organisation like that on their shirts doesn't fit.

Minutes silence doesn't have the same impact in an empty stadium does it.

The canned crowd noise is soooooooo w/nk.

Give me German technical areas hurling verbal abuse at the ref on Bet365 any day.

At least Sky are giving the option of watching on another channel without the fake crowd noise.

Not sure the stadium announcer needs to tell an empty stadium who scored the penalty.

Why isn't Ederson sent off for endangering another player? Are the laws specific to it being an opponent? If he does that to Aubameyang, it's a straight red.

No word yet on Garcia - let's hope it is nothing more serious than concussion. Guardiola says he is conscious but needs tests in hospital.

Why would he be sent off for doing that to his own player? He was going for the ball. Come on Sanguine have some common sense.

You can be sent off for endangering another player. I'm asking if that rule only applies to opponents. It wasn't simply a 'collision'.
Similar may be the violent conduct rule, where Lee Bowyer and Kieron Dyer (Newcastle team mates at the time) were sent off for fighting each other.
