Nearly there

Cheese man united typical goal. Never seen a game where a team got battered so hard and we're so resilient at the end though. Fair oxf*rd naaaaaarge

guess we all knew (at 1-1) how this result would end.

Just watching the PNE v Cardiff game on Quest

Why does PNE have an announcer at the ground?

Announcing the goalscorers (as the goals went in) to ...well...nobody?

To keep the experience as close to normal for the players I guess. May make a small mental difference.

Yeah, assumed something like that, but just another unnecessary cost?

I mean....It’s not as if the ‘crowd’ of management and players needed telling....just sounded a bit pointless

Surprising Bournemouth are letting Ryan fraser and Ibe go without a fight, I suppose they just probably refused to sign deals. Fraser is a good player.

From what I gather, Bournemouth fans aren’t too upset with Fraser leaving, had a poor season by all accounts. Don’t think Ibe has featured much at all this season, not sure what the deal is there

But they have looked pretty toothless attacking through the entire season, some poor buys from Howe and I’m not sure he’ll be there much longer

It's a shame as I've always liked Bournemouth. I like the "small" and new PL teams such as when Blackpool went up. He could easily manage a mid table team such as arsenal.

Exeter v Northampton in the League 2 playoff final currently on. Hard to get into the game as I can't think of two teams I have more apathy for.

And in the battle of ex-Reading players, Keith Curle proves to be the winner (barring a quite incredible miracle) as Northampton are 3-0 up and Exeter are down to 10 with about 5 minutes left.

Feel for Exeter who have lost 3 of the last 4 league 2 playoff finals. Makes Reading’s dreadful play off record look good.

Lovely to have the Jon Champion and Ally McCoist combo doing the Palace v Burnley match on Amazon last night.

Witnessed Ashley Williams try to get sent off for 4 different pieces of violent conduct in the space of 10 seconds earlier. It was quite something.

If anyone ever fancies losing the will to live then tune into the Sky Sports Premier League watch along show. I managed 4 minutes before I wanted to end it all.

Regardless of how it ends EFL due to have a vote next week on start date for 20/21. 2 dates put forward 29. August and 12. September.

A more sensible approach imo would have been to start 2nd week in August but scrap the League Cup and EFL Trophy for next season.

Far too soon. Make up of the divisions will not even be finalised until 4th August after the Championship play-off final. Won't be a normal pre-season naturally but clubs need more than a week to prep. Agree on scrapping the cups for a season. EFL won't scrap league cup though as likely that once it's gone, it's gone.
