Would make sense but I was under the impression that was if they were arriving for a short period of time i.e. a match and leaving again with their club - not moving to the country for an extended period. So Maccabi Tel Aviv didn't have to quarantine for the match against Spurs but if a MTV player were to return a few days later to sign for an English club, they as an individual would have to as they had left the "bubble".

Ah thats harsh. First couple of years he did it it was good fun, as he intended it to be. After that more and more people started to get involved in it and turn up at the stadium with him to "help" etc etc. He hated the exposure in the end and what it had become, there was official merchandise and everything. It was meant to just be a joke but blew up into something he couldn't control. Met JSK many times at games and he is a lovely guy.

There is a flight due in at 4-45 this afternoon so shall I pop down there and check?
It would only take a car an hour and a half to get to the Mad Stad.

I think with inter-country transfers the medical is often held in the most convenient country so he wouldn't necessarily have to even make the trip to Reading.
If he did, he might change his mind in seeing Reading in all its glory on a wet and miserable Monday afternoon.

Just read somewhere that in the current COVID times, medicals on international transfers are expected to take place before the player travels.

Judging by the looks of him when Yiadom is back he could play further up as a winger. Good options regardless.

Depends doesn’t it, if he comes in and hits the ground running and we keep playing well and getting good results, Yiadom will have to work hard to win that shirt back. Good thing as well is, it Richards drops form or gets injured (when Yiadom is back for) he can cover on the left.
