I typed this up earlier but didn't post it just in case I had over simplified things. I then read what JR posted above and it looks very similar. Then I read Snowball's post - my head exploded at this point.

Isn't it a case of firstly getting the top 5 in order then whenever a goal is scored just deciding where it fits in this list?

If the list is A, B, C, D, E then F is scored then if there was only a single voter who decides that F is better than B the revised list would be A, F, B, C, D

With more than one voter then majority rules and you would take the average placement.

Goals can tie in the list but perhaps there could be an end of season vote off for any tied goals?

They already have a goal of the season

But I no longer give a toss about this. Let it die

So as I understand it from this thread whenever Reading score a good goal we all have a mass debate?

Meite’s second goal yesterday was pretty decent

No doubt Snowball doesn't rate Meite's second goal. Not enough passing involved in the build up.

Well someone started an unnecessary thread and you weren't here to tell them. I'm very disappointed in you.

You at least been watching the games?

Yeah I feel bad that I wasn't here to brow beat location Royals into submission. I feel I have let the few sane and intelligent people on the team board down.

I have been following the games, we are doing too well for my liking. It is extremely hard to be negative when you are 5 points clear at the top of the league.

Its very uncomfortable to see us doing so well. I have been in the longest period of happiness I can remember for a long time..

I was so used to disappointment.

See, if you were a real fan and upset at Bowen going you could still be miserable like me.

Bowen can oxf*rd off. He was an awful and our current manager is better.

And none of you are real fans, you don't even go to games

Remember this thread anyone? Where are we now for goal of the season? Olise v QPR must be in top 5 and Aluko v Bournemouth as well.

I'll have to rewatch Aluko's, was that the one with the fantastic assist?

Meite's overhead kick has to be a contender for me.

Yep, defence splitting ball from Ovie. Was more a "pass of the season" than goal of the season.

Honestly should be a separate category for Assist of The Year. that's definitely up there.
