Well, was that the worst ever Manc derby?
Two teams terrified of losing and with players costing over a billion pounds and nothing happened.

As Roy Keane said, not having fans in the stadium can't be an excuse as there have been plenty of cracking games this season with no fans in the ground.
A good result for the other challengers to City in the title race but what a deadful advert for football.

Oh and Martin Tyler really should not be allowed to commentate on Man Utd games as he only ever sees games from their perspective-Neville is much less biased.
Mind you, the same goes IMHO with Liverpool games where I feel that Carragher shouldn't be used as he is so negative about Liverpool.

Carragher is the absolute worst (don't know about negative about Liverpool, but he comes across as a dyed in the wool supporter with a voice on TV)
Even in games where Liverpool are not playing he insists on bringing them up in every other sentence.
I don't hate Liverpool, but he's doing a really good job at changing my mind

Are open-top buses allowed in tier 3 ?
How far have Man Utd fallen that a win against the bottom club is thought to be a sign of a title challenge according to their inept manager?

An inept manager who has scored more points than yours over the last 10-11 months tbf (a.k.a 'scouser stats')

Your last min winner against Spurs makes me think that whilst technically in a race (within two points pos) we haven't really closed the gap and you have your better players to return

Rather a false picture as Liverpool were a bit casual once the title was won.
A manager who oversees an embarrassing early exit from the one European competition that matters-has that ever happened before for Man Utd.?
A manager who rattles up points when there are no crowds?

I thought you didn't rate him much.

I don't rate him but whoever else is brought in won't do any better.

Do you seriously think the board will bring in what's needed for him this Jan?

United have needed a CB, CDM & RW since Fergie left

I don't think they will.
In any event the bigger clubs (with the better players?) don't normally sell in January.

similar to you, we don't need the best CB but someone who can come in and do a better job than the Chuckle Brothers

they spent £40M on Van der Bench, I'm not sure how Olé could make it any clearer that he didn't want him

That'll do nicely!

Hopefully, there is a title race with Liverpool but can't really see it!

That was a fun watch. Really good decision from Ole playing Dan James and his speed.

Looked at the team sheet and wondered why Dan James was playing but then remembered there was likely to be plenty of space behind, especially with Alioski at LB

Oles tactics today were those indicative of a top manager. Credit to him and I’ve never understood the over reaction to him
