WoodleyRoyal Disagree, think it’s a no lose situation. Basket case of a club that everyone now thinks will go down. If he takes the job he’s still relevant not disappearing into obscurity, keep them up and be hailed a hero, take them down? Meh it was to be expected anyway and shouldn’t black mark his CV too much.

Think this’d be more true for someone more experienced, not sure about someone who would only be entering their second managerial job

Whore Jackie
Dejphon Chansiri, Sheffield Wednesday chairman The performances and results have not been of the level expected since Tony Pulis was appointed. There are also other issues which have had a bearing on this decision.

I'd like to think Pulis had a go at the owners for not paying the players. Along the lines of "How am I supposed to be getting wins when you tossers are chucking hand grenades up my arse?" And that they sacked him because they didn't like his mouth. They've no case for sacking him on results in such a short time. I wanted them to stay up; but now they don't deserve to.

Think Wilder will walk this week - however much he’s done for them, it’s difficult to justify 2 points in 17 games where his first four choice strikers cost in the region of £60-£70 million

As a side point, Norwood has very much become a scapegoat up there, we’d be happy to take him back!

I would like to know why the national press are not running the “turkies in a pen” outside of their ground...or ramping-up them to Fall short of Derby Countys’ worst points ever in the Prem total just yet :?:

Btw...just like Wycombe in our league...I hope they make it through...decent enough fans from personal experience.

More than just the manager, sounds like the owners want to go in a new direction as the Fleetwood DofF, Eddy Jennings, plus coaches Clint Hill and Andy Mangan have also departed.

Youth team boss Simon Wiles has been made caretaker.

Love him or hate him (can't think that many love him!!) he has done well there but he might struggle to find another club.

How long for Steve Bruce at Newcastle?

I quite like him and fcuking hate Newcastle so as long as he is there it annoys the whinging Northern fatsos.

Dunno, but Sheff U’s first win of the Prem season hasn’t helped his pension pot.

Two wins on the bounce for the Blades

I don’t hate Newcastle but I just find them a bit self entitled and their fans are undoubtedly thick

Results wise, Bruce is doing OK, I’d certainly categorise Newcastle’s squad as one of the weakest in the league (particularly with ASM injured) but they’re clearly on a slippery slope at this present time

Wayne Rooney finally appointed manager of Derby. No one saw that coming.
