Looked like Aluko was standing still as goal scored

Yep. One of our most senior pros decided to stand and watch Luton's most dangerous player charge towards our back post completely free.

Snowflake Royal Esteves and Aluko RW combination soft as shit and leaving men free to attack the ball again.

oxf*rd sake Aluko you useless turd.

That’s a really interesting viewpoint given that most of Luton’s danger is com8ng for their right, our left

The crosses are coming from there, but it's where the crosses are going with players completely free that's the problem.

The left flank is also Bristow and Onen, who have less than 5 first team appearances between them.

Seriously is there any point Aluko shooting with his right foot?!

Didn’t think it was that bad an effort - a lot better than his last one!

What was the goal like? Did Southwood have a chance?

Not really. Free half volley our right side of the box into the far corner.

Better than his last two in previous game but that doesn't say much!

No

Cross from right, Aluko asleep and free shot to their attacker

Quite enjoyed the half. Looks a bit like a friendly and tbf that’s how I feel about it

Young lads done well without any of them quite looking ready. Onen and Bristow both look decent players but have struggled against an experienced RHS for Luton

Semedo done quite well with Pendlebury in the cdm role

Not a great deal going forward though, very little from Baldock. Would like to see NML get a bit of time

The bits I’ve seen (since they scored) have been encouraging. The inherent problem though is that it doesn’t matter what the rest of the team plays like, with Baldock up top in this formation we are always going to struggle in an attacking sense. It’s square peg round hole stuff.

Yep, just poor management IMO.

Just seen the goal, very hit and hope ball into the box. Looked like Esteves’ man free? Not a huge surprise there

Thought Dorsett and Bristow look ok although both a bit too easy to be knocked off the ball

Semedo has been as good as anyone. Very confident and lots of decent first time passes. Not seen much of Pendlebury but doing alright and decent shot probably the only chance on target

Very much so. But turned into an awkward ball to deal with

Esteves and Aluko the culprits

Aluko's, Esteves was wrong side of his though I think.

Luton are taking this game far more seriously than we are. Their bench has plenty of first teamers. Our squad is literally Academy players plus Semedo, Aluko, Baldock and Esteves.

Very harsh to blame Esteves. Was Aluko’s man and he was nowhere to be seen

Olise and McIntyre too.

But yeah. You've got to ask why the hell Puscas isn't involved for one. Very few minutes this season. Just back from injury, unlikely to get much time in the league.

Swift as well. Limited chances due to injury.
