WestYorksRoyal Will admit to not watching last night's match and only following reports, but sounds like United are still a little way off consistently challenging for trophies.
In many senses though, Solksjaer has made good progress in 2 years. Is he that far off what Klopp was achieving after 2 years at Liverpool? I guess the difference was Klopp had done it before at Dortmund, where beating Bayern to the title is massive. Solksjaer has achieved relatively little by comparison. Still think he deserves a decent crack though.
Was a relatively even game from what I saw with set pieces being the difference, both teams slightly blunt in attack. Not sure they're too far off, a conventional striker in Cavani was just what they needed and they missed his impact last night. Do think they're desperate for two FB's, especially an improvement on AWB who really does look out of his depth in an improving United side
Never know what to make of Fred either, his harrying and hassling off the ball is useful but his ball retention is erratic at best
