Final one under Jose it is - albeit a fairly straight forward route to the final other than Chelsea

More success for Jose in the short run possibly but he needs to try and sustain something in the long run

Well Marine conceeded less than United did against Spurs at home so they can be pleased with their effort.

If I was to draw up a league table of clubs who's fans unjustifiably claim they are 'massive', I think Spurs might actually be top.

Mourinho will get stick but I thought it was a decent game, open one with chances for both teams

I know a lot of people point to Spurs’ attacking riches and say they should be scoring/attacking more but their defence is just so poor, it always leaves them in a vulnerable position. Dier and Sanchez at fault once again, Aurier is always a liability. Instead of wasting money on Bale, perhaps a defender (or three) would have been more appropriate

Reckon Newcastle and West Ham would be above Spurs.

Seen a few arrogant and self righteous Spurs fans taking the piss out of Scott Parker because he complained about 2 days notice for the game. Absolutely delighted when Fulham equalised.

Back seven of

Lloris (getting older and a lot more error prone)

Doherty (not good enough)
Dier (not good enough)
Rodon (not good enough)
Davies (not good enough)

Winks (not good enough)
Hojbjerg (decent player)

Think you can see where the issue is - especially with Kane going off injured

I can defend a number of players and at least see their attributes but apart from “versatility”, I don’t get what he offers

I’m astounded he’s played at a top 6 club for seven years now and is a regular for the national team. I just don’t get it unless managers are seeing things that others can’t

WoodleyRoyal Fair play to Jose, clearly his defensive approach at previous clubs was just playing to strengths of the relevant clubs. With Spurs he is fully exploiting the embarrassment of attacking riches he has at his disposal. Born to win. Spurs will win the league this year.

A season being a marathon and not a sprint is highlighted by posts such as this one back in November when Spurs had their Glory, glory halleluia moment.
How some people are taken in by the little not-so-special one.

Their brief stay at the top didn't last long.
