Snowflake Royal Holmes must have had a terrible first 10, he's barely put a foot wrong since I started watching.

He was poor.Dreadful back pass which nearly led to a goal. Then the player he was marking had a header which should have been buried.
Esteves needs to come on for him as I can see himself being sent off.

We really don’t look convincing. We rely on a bit of individual flair,Coventry just pass and move quickly.Ref again poor. How have so many Coventry players escaped a booking for pro fouls.Holmes having a mare defensively.Thank god for Jao.
Surely we can get better 2nd half. They will come out revved up,unless the Ref takes control.

Midfield not performing to their normal standard. They are cutting through the middle like a hot knife through butter. We need to step up.
Holmes on a yellow with their wing back running at him is going to end in tears. Just see it.

Might need a bit of half time tinkering.

Who Moved The Goalposts?
Chameleon It feels like this game is being played in slow motion, might just be the pace of the pitch.

Feels to me like we have too many luxury players in the midfield. Ejaria, Swift and Olise don't seem to be tracking back enough, or getting first to the loose balls.

Well off the pace. Too many touches going forward as well.

Our team is rather arse about face , great and lethal up front, not very good and nervous at the back, bit like Stam days with the fannying about at the back, just waiting for us to fcuk up.

Coventry should have been 2 up before we scored. We are being overrun in midfield. Need to tighten up and stop trying to play out from the back we just aren’t good enough.

Laurent has been unusually quiet.
Thought we should have had a pen. Joao was held back for that Holmes cross.

What a difference a strong skillful striker makes-if Baldock had been playing we would have been posting how sluggish we are at the back, lucky to get away with it etc.

BTW Holmes looking to go backwards early on very nearly cost us-think forward man , they (probably) can't score when the ball is in their half.
After that , apart from the correct booking and very nearly a red afterwards, he has played really well going forward and I think he is a good passer of the ball for a defender, crisp and accurate.

Agree with Hound though, best to sub him now.

Yeah though being as it was seconds after Holmes should have been sent off wasn’t complaining too much

That’s what Jnr said, Yep Holmes was lucky there and is now subbed. Esteves on.

Strangely has looked great going forward but shite defending.

Yep that pretty much. Lost every header, terrible back pass. Lucky not to have been sent off

But a couple of nice runs and a lovely cross

Either way needs to be hooked or else he’ll quite likely be sent off

He'd be hard pressed to be sent off seeing as without the foul at the end it would have been at best a 60/40 with Morrison. Unless I missed something early doors.

EDIT, oh, second yellow, yeah for sure.

ANDY you BEAUTY!!!!!!!
