bcubed Tbf I think Aluko has been ok

Apart from the free kick obviously

What losing the ball in midfield and and moaning at the ref and turning his back to moan at the ref whilst a large space opens up behind him.
I've seen nothing ok about him at all. In fact if Preston picked on our right side more than the left they would create much more.

Sort of game where a 0-0 would be a decent result for a play-off chasing side but not a side with serious ambitions of crashing the top 2. Would love to see us step up in 2nd half and take home 3 points.

genome Why did Swifty let Aluko take that free kick :x

The element of surprise.

They wont defend them as carefully in future now they've seen Aluko spaff one 20 yards off target with a 'precise' effort.

No one expects the Swiftian free kicksquisition

I think there is a case to do the unexpected. But he certainly won’t be taking another one.

Nicely balanced game - we were good in middle and looked dangerous and classy at time.

Would have had pen with VAR, but personally I don’t want to see pens for that sort of glancing non deliberate handball, so was ok with it.

Not a bad game so far...very competitive. Tempo is decent enough

They’re not a bad side but lack a goal threat up top. Browne is a decent right back

Getting Swifty on the ball more and I think we could snatch this

God, that handball looks worse every time I see it. Took it straight off Holmes' head.

Well plenty of effort, plenty of running, closing down and a few decent passes. It's a low bar!

Didn't see the incident you mention

It was one where he claimed a high foot, and it wasn't, so he just stopped. Did somthing similar at Bournmouth.

Shame about the FA Cup.....Luton seem to be opening Chelsea up at the back quite easily.

Tbf, it was a high foot, if he'd tried to win the ball he'd have got studs through his face.

Too predictable and doesn't include 'ian' the best of all word endings

Would we have got Chelsea? We would have had a different ball number to Luton round 4 number wouldn’t we? Or had the draw already taken place prior to the Luton game?
