SCIAGJRPepe the Horseman For balance, we were 5/2 to beat Bournemouth. Which, considering form, league position and the fact that we were at home, was ridiculous. The bookies love to underestimate us.
I won a nice bet on Tom McIntyre to score during the Bournemouth game at 20/1.
I had figured that was a one time only opportunity as the bookies would have now cottoned on to the fact that he has at least one decent effort a game. Turns out not and he has lengthened to 22/1 for a goal at anytime.
The odds are completely bizarre. OddsChecker is showing McIntyre at 25/1. Sam Baldock is at 3/1, Jayden Onen at 5/1, Oli Pendlebury at 13/2, Felipe Araruna at 11/1, Liam Moore at 18/1, and Jeriel Dorsett at 20/1.
Reckon if you put a tenner on McIntyre at 20-25/1 every time he looked like starting then you’d turn a solid profit over the year. Very strange that he has longer odds than injured players, academy kids who haven’t made their league debuts, and substitutes who haven’t scored all season.
I was on him at 22s when he scored v Luton. Gone for Tom Holmes at 20/1 today, feel like he's due one. But again, doesn't make sense that he's shorter odds than T Mac.
