windermereROYAL Playing for 2nd place now, Brentford will piss the league.

Maybe. But 2nd looking open again. Would be a little gutted if functional defensive Swansea went up auto

Not by any means

One loss for them could plummet confidence

Still a long way to go yet

I`m just staggered they keep picking up prolific scorers, Maupay, Watkins and now Toney. they will run out of luck sometime.

Good results outside the POs today with Boro, Brizzle and Blackburn all losing. And Stoke only drawing, obvs.

It's almost as if it's not luck, they're just a very well run club.

Brentford’s keeper looks pretty shit on crosses - conceded a couple of shockers recently

Could be a source of success - obvs we’ve scored quite a few from set pieces etc

The way I see it now is that autos will be a tough ask unless we win on Wed.

Play offs looking better by the week though....mid table form from now (say 7-6-6) will get us to 75 points and anyone outside the current top six would need 2 points a game (auto promotion form) to better that...not going to happen.

Norwich were running away with it a month ago apparently.

Gather they’re not huge fans of Holden but then other than the first four games of the season, they’ve only really averaged a point a game

Harry Redknapp back at Bournemouth in an advisory role.

Crouchy is happy.

Crouchy, Niko Kranjcar and Hermann Hreidarsson have plenty left in the tank.

The thing is its been a consistent upgrading too. Here are their main goal threats since getting promoted back to the Chump:
- 14/15 Gray (supported by Pritchard and Judge)
- 15/16 Vibe (supported by Judge)
- 16/17 Vibe + Hogan
- 17/18 and 18/19 Maupay (supported by Watkins)
- 19/20 Watkins (supported by Benhrama and Mbeuno)
- 20/21 Toney (supported by Mbeumo)

The lowest top goalscorer season was 12 league goals for Maupay (25 starts +17 sub) in 17/18. in 5/7 seasons the top scorer has 15+ goals - the only other season where nobody hit 15 goals (15/16), two players finished on 14... Our top scorers over those 7 seasons were 8, 11, 19, 10, 12, 13, 15+

It's been said before but worth reiterating its 'easy' to be a goal scorer in their team because their style of play naturally creates a lot of really good goal scoring opportunities. Put any of that lot in our teams over the last few years and they'd struggle. There's an argument to be made that even at the moment we're pretty reliant on individual skill for goals.

But that individual skill comes from about 4 players rather than one now.

Bristol City's injury crisis deepens and makes ours look like flesh wounds - Mawson out for the season and gone back to Fulham. Chris Martin out for 3 months.

Something like 15 players out at the mo.

Swansea's game at Sheff Wed postponed due to a frozen pitch.

It’s horrendous and they are in freefall. I do feel that is one we really need to be winning.
