Stranded Bristol City's injury crisis deepens and makes ours look like flesh wounds - Mawson out for the season and gone back to Fulham. Chris Martin out for 3 months.

Something like 15 players out at the mo.

It’s horrendous and they are in freefall. I do feel that is one we really need to be winning.

Think we should be aiming for three wins this month, Bristol, Wycombe and one of Millwall/Boro/Rotherham

Quite impressively, we have only lost one league game now to a team outside of the top six for over 3 months (Birmingham). Our only other losses since then are Bournemouth, Brentford (X2) and Norwich

How teams at this level still have games postponed for having a frozen pitch is a disgrace really.............Rotherham's ground is virtually brand new FFS! At the design stage did no-one think to install undersoil heating? Or did they discuss it, and it was thought that it never gets that cold in South Yorkshire?

Can just see Bodvarsson popping up with a last minute now, from an Evans long ball and a Cooper knock down

Milwall do seem to have a fair few of our ex-players thinking about it

yes its a fair point. Been a bit scathing of them recently, but they have been decimated by injury. They'll rightfully think they could have challenged a lot more with better luck. We really do want to be winning that one.

The fact that Sheff Wed have also called off their game, and they are only a few miles away, suggests that it might be more than that.
I remember Reading and other clubs calling off games because of access to the grounds being deemed dangerous-perhaps that is the case up there.

Hillsborough is on a main road and with no fans either seems very odd if that's the case

It does seem odd especially at a ground such as theirs but for them and Rotherham to call off a game is hardly the disgrace that Mr A suggests.

Maybe they thought the cost was disproportionate to the benefit of avoiding a game or two every couple of years being rearranged

2-0

PNE just a horrible bunch. Put it on for 5 mins, watched some diving, bit of time wasting, an ugly scrappy goal and Ched bloody Evans

Yep. Blackburn could have closed to six behind us.

There always seem to be teams that come from nowhere to challenge for a play-off spot late in the season, I wouldn`t rule out Cardiff and Forest just yet.

On what basis are you expecting Forest to suddenly transform into a team capable of averaging well over 2 points a game for the rest of the season ?

They’ve 10 points from their last 5, which is a good start and they play Bournemouth today, so have every chance of keeping that going. But it will be a very tough ask for them to do it from now to the end of the season.

Think Cardiff or Millwall would be the ones to watch, Millwall just need to turn some of those draws into wins and they will start rising quickly, only lost 7 games, which is 1 fewer than we have.
