We are hanging on here. Just seem to have no outlets.

Royal Ginger
Ascotexgunner That wasn't outside was it?

It’s extremely hard to tell, first look says yes, replays, I don’t know if he held it over the line. Huge call to label him a McCarthy and send him off.

Even if he did take it outside, it's a yellow card at worst.

That was a poor parry from Rafael, luckily the follow up was equally poor.

One way traffic. Nice to see a bit of occasional ball retention.

Brain Traysers Am I still the lone voice saying "players look tired"?

Go look at the first page of this thread.

 Two of us!

Its almost as if Joao/Olise/Ejaria all going off the boil together after playing nearly every minute of the most congested spell in years is not a coincidence!

That midweek rest after the Sheff Weds game can't come soon enough

Reckon it's willful ignorance to suggest certain players don't look tired.

Another terribly unconvincing display at best. Presume a lot of it is down to the injuries and under sized squad but really don’t seem able to finish games on the front foot.

We've gone too negative too quick. Not sure if fitness is an issue as the players look knackered in games recently. Bit like Bielsa's teams?

Poor second half I wouldnt have any complaints if Blackburn score before the end of this one.

Don’t ever compare us to a Bielsa team ever again

Its certainly striking how full of energy/up for it the one fresh player (Puscas) has looked

That said, he's flagging a lot now - a big shift coming back from injury and we shouldn't be risking reinjury like we saw with Meite and Swift

The squad is way too thin.

Tis a tough call bit I feel Pauno has been a bit forced in his changes due to Blackburn threatening. Was likely not the plan to leave Puscas on this long.

In the way that the team trains hard and has a gr8 start then ends up blowing out its arse towards the end of the season. Just a theory tbh. Leeds were saved by the lockdown last season.

I don't see it as a fitness issue - the fixture list is too compact to expect players to perform optimally every game. This season is calling out for rotation and Pauno hasn't, partly due to the injuries (which in turn pile up when you don't manage workload...)

He's been excellent second half. Especially as we must have had about 10% of the ball
