No disrespect to them but I really hope they go down and stay down, such a boring yo-yo club.

Agreed, always dull and add little to the champ

Bet you'd be unimpressed if Premier league clubs said the same about Reading, if we got promoted.

I like clubs who think they're too big to go down, to go down. Or have clearly cheated FFP etc. Or local rivals because of bragging rights.

Not clubs I've randomly decided aren't "good" enough to breathe the purer air of the Championship.

oxf*rd elitist snobs.

Rotherham show no ambition to ever do any more that stay up and fail every time. Waste of a spot in the champ.

More than happy to see the likes of Barnsley, Wycombe come up and give it a go. Just bored sick of Rotherham

No elitist snob rubbish about it. Thats just you trying to make an argument

Well except that Barnsley were until this season the very definition of a yo-yo club. Hell they'd have been relegated last season if it wasn't for Wigan's administration.

I'm not sure you can really say Wycombe have given it a go either. And if last season had finished there's a decent chance they wouldn't have made it up anyway.

not really. Rotherham will be playing in a different division for the 6th consecutive season if they go down this year.

this is the 4th season is the last 5 Barnsley have been in the champ and they will be next season if they don't go up.

Of course they've given it a go. And come up short. If they come back up, go back down, come back up again to go back down I'll whinge about them as well. Save the pointless argument for the crappy AE board.

Probably what the average Prem team will say about Norwich too, although at least they had a few years in a row in the same division

For what it’s worth, I agree - much prefer to see a “new” team come up like Wycombe and Burton rather than the usual roundabout teams which primarily includes Rotherham

You're really reaching now.

2 seasons in League One
2 seasons in the Championship
1 season in League One
1 season in Championship (that arguably should have resulted in relegation
2 seasons in Championship or Prem (if they get promoted.)

I don't see how that is anything but a yo-yo side.

You're picking a very particular period of time where they would have continued to yo-yo if it wasn't for Wigan's administration. They might establish themselves as a bit more of a regular Championship even occasional Premier League side this time round but their recent history is definitely that of a yo-yo side.

But Wigan did get deducted points and it was before the end of the season. they may have won an extra couple of points if they'd needed to.

That’s not what I said or meant. Rotherham have had 3 attempts or ‘goes’ in the last 5 years to stay up and failed. I’d rather see someone else have a ‘go’ at the champ than them. Like Wycombe.
