Sutekh Araruna now back in “full contact” training, possibly may get a place on the bench Friday if no further setbacks. If he is OK that’ll at least give more cover at right back and in midfield for the run-in.

Only seen Araruna play a couple of times;neat and tidy on the ball in midfield. But don’t really see him as a FB in the hurly burly of the Championship.

The times he has played at RB he has, IMHO, looked a better player than in midfield. Good option to have.

CountryRoyal I just hope this isn't a repeat of the Brentford game where we play really well and with such an intensity, but ultimately come up short and then the fall out of which sees our form drop. If we're going to lose I'd rather we just did it at a canter. Bigger more winnable and season defining games coming up.

I get you.

I originally factored in us losing and still thought even a 2-0 reverse was OK
as we could beat Derby, Cardiff, Swansea, Huddersfield, and anything from
Watford and/or Norwich would be a bonus.

Only worry would be a tonking which with GD might
be the equivalent of -1 points

This is such a tricky one, but any kind of win would be mega.

After Brentford though (which was a catch up game, no one else played) we had Millwall straight after (2 days recovery) then midweek-weekend for a month.

Its all more spread out now

Re Prince Phillip -

Quiet music on radio stations now - no talking - so royal protocol in place.

Could be off I reckon?

Another utility player for the squad. With Tmac injured this is good news - we’d be screwed if Rino, Laurent or Yiadom get nobbled over the coming weeks.

Yep. If anything he looks a much better player at right back.

The club website does not mention it has been cancelled, so it looks like it will be on. But, Radio Berks schedule shows a special program on all evening, does not mention a commentary on the match. Will it be on Ifollow? My son tells me it is on Talksport 2, so all will not be lost.

Prince Philip would want the game to go ahead. Minute’s silence, black arm bands, and let’s play ball.

Still no Swift in tonight’s squad. Pauno keeps on saying he is going to be available and yet he is still not involved. Have to question what is going on.

In the home game, didn't they have a lot of success down their right wing?

Think they will target Gibson?

Was sure Joao would come straight back in, fair play for Pauno for sticking with Puscas, he did bag a goal after all.

Had he switched back immediately, Joao would have
presumed business-as-usual. Very good call.

I'll bet, though, that Watford are happier.

Keep it tight and King Joao off the bench for the winner. I like it. 8)

Why's Richards not starting?

Jagermesiter1871 Why's Richards not starting?

Could be he's not fully recovered from the injury he took on Monday, could be that they want Gibson to play as he is maybe a better defensive option.

That said, Richards has the highest tackles in the division but generally defenders don't always lunge in, I'm sure the club have stats to back up decisions like that.

Assuming both are fit I think you have to go with the pace of Richards against Sarr imho.

But what do I know.
