What do we change? Gibson obviously....but bring João on. Ejaria and Olise are causing them issues....and Meite has looked decent....other than the finishing. Puscas hasn't done much wrong, other than the miss.

Sky commentary team just said Moore should have closed down for the second, not stand off. Totally agree and it’s not just Gibson making mistakes.

The tactical fouling shows why their defensive record is so good because they look pretty dodgy at the back to me.

I still say Laurent as much if not more to blame for goal 1

Gibson lost it for goal 2 but then Moore didn’t close down quickly enough

Moore stood off for both goals

Think thats harsh on Moore. By that stage we were already bollocked and the angle was still very tight. Could maybe have got slightly closer but thats nit picking.

I suspect given we’ve created so many chances there will be no changes

PremAddict This doesn't look like 2-0 ball. If Watford come out in the second like they played the last 30min, then they're crazy - was expecting them to go full throttle and finish it.

They shot themselves in the foot a bit that half. They took the foot off, took a more defensive shape and were happy to defend and look to hit us on the counter.

We then actually decided to try and attack their goal and get forward with some conviction and really had them on the ropes, only our abysmal finishing coming to their aid.

It’s kind of upsetting we haven’t seen that level of attacking intensity as much we should have this season. We’re clearly capable but we just love second gear.

If Moore goes closer he might prevent that screamer
or the player has to try to beat him
or the player passes.

I'd definitely say Moore is at least one-third responsible for the goal

If Pauno changes it now he honestly shouldn’t be a manager. The ONLY change that would make sense would be a Richards Gibson straight swap and Richards offers more going forward.

Also fair to say both finished were sublime.

You can scoff at xG, but (if you're still reading having mentioned Xg) both chances combined came to 0.3

Its unusual to be punished so ruthlessly for what weren't terrible mistakes by Moore.

Stranded Annoying thing us we are creating. Should be back to 2-1.

Their second pissed me off. You were shown he can hit it when you backed off, so why back off again.

Get on the front foot 2nd half, there are goals there.

What hacked me off more was Gibson fannying around and giving them the ball.

Puscas a worse miss than the Joao one? He had a defender bearing down on him & Meite hit it at pace to him. Yea he should have buried it, but Joao had acres of time & space to tuck his away

No, with the defender on him and the ball at pace you just need to redirect it as best you can. 2cms to the left and it's a goal.

We have ripped them apart at times so to have nothing to show for it is poor.

Re Gibson, yet poor. Lost it once got a second chance, lost it but Moore backed off Sarr too just 90 seconds after the whole defence backed off him to let him score. Hardly a shock when he shot.

Watford’s passing out of defence has been atrocious. As bad as I have seen from any team this season. We have failed to punish them.

THIS. I've been saying all season the we rarely play fast football.

Someone arriving after it was 2-0 would think we were by far the better side.

PS Is it right Sarr cost (or is worth) 40 Million?
