he has had 16 clean sheets 4th highest in the league, he has had a few off days but so has Morrison and Laurent.

it is hard between Joao, Laurent, Morrison and Rafael. but he has been the most important player in his position all season.

I said on the Twitter that Morrison or Laurent will get it over João and Olise, because they're more likeable. If they have a bad game it doesn't matter because they gave 100%. If Olise or Joao have a bad game they're accused of sulking or having an attitude problem.

If Laurent has a bad game he's trying too hard. If Joao has a bad game he's not trying at all.

Ftr I wouldn't begrudge any of them getting it, but I think that's what it will come down to.

Got to agree with that tbh, I've been thinking for a while that when Swift is back up to speed, Laurent for me is the most likely one to drop out of the team, hence why I didn't really consider Laurent for POTS, then I saw how people were voting and thought maybe I was the mistaken one.

For the record I voted Olise, by far our most influential player this season, would have been Joao if he hadn't gone completely off the boil recently.

If this season happens in reverse with a turgid start and we finish on an unbeaten run (but not quite enough for the playoffs) everyone loves Pauno, Joao absolutely storms POTS and we feel very optimistic about next season

Kermorgant and Alfie both got 15+ and it still went to GKs. Was surprised to see Rafael get it last year as well, had no recollection of that. In fact four of the last six winners have been GKs. That's pretty depressing.

For me it has to be Olise. The kid has gone from 0 to 60 this season and has to be up there in terms of the best players our academy has produced.

Really though year though. Morrison deserves it too. As do both the midfield pair of Laurent and Rhino. I'd even say Holmes deserves a big shout out for his professionalism and adapting to various positions. Joao because of the goals, if not the attitude. And Rafael, who has had a great season.

Hasn't felt like this for a while, which is such a great feeling.

Stephen Hunt got it over Doyle when he got 18. Alex Pearce got it when we won the league under McDermott. Feds got it over Alfie when he scored 15. Al-Habsi got it when we got to the PO final and Kermie got 18(?). Laurent or Morrison will get it this season over Joao.

It goes against the grain voting for Morrison,such a limited player;however unlike every other squad player,I cannot recall him having a poor game.
