crikey, sounds like they may actually boot them down a division
Totally fvcks over Wycombe doesn't it. How can they plan for the season if they don't know what league they'll be in. Makes any recruitment pretty much impossible "yeah, we'll pay this this much if we're in the Championship and half that if Derby get away with it again." Any player with an offer from another Championship club won't think twice about it. When do relegation clauses kick in for player's wages? Will Wycombe suddenly have to find a couple of months back pay having cut wages at the end of the season? Have any of their players already left the club for other championship clubs.

Opens up an interesting legal option to pursue losses / costs from Derby.
