BR0B0TSanguine Rhian Brewster must be feeling sick at the moment. 25 games or so without scoring for Sheffield United, and 17 year old Ryan Jebbison goes and does it on his first start.
Wasn't Brewster your next big thing?
Was supposed to be, but a lack of opportunity at Liverpool has cost him big time. He's an Owen-type, albeit one who has a shot from distance too. But he's a right place, right time attacker who would feast off crosses and Thiago's passes at Liverpool - Sheffield United is an awful move for him, they just don't use their strikers that way. Swansea do, which is why he was successful there. Of course that says as much about Brewster as the clubs - he needs to improve other areas of his game.
Emphasises how few 'big things' really make it - that's Woodburn, Brewster, Solanke, all brilliant in age group teams but couldn't make the step up. Does look like Elliott might be one of the few that does.
