nailseabiscuitman Absolutely agree, terrible conditions but very comfortable on the ball, and I think he's 24, good age

Zip Nicky Maynard at 34 is well past his best.
Agree about Josh Sheehan though.Good player who would be worth a punt.
I bet you enjoyed that Snowball. You can never write off Newport under Mike Flynn.

Yeah, roller-coaster but overall woo-hoo!
I thought Maynard was poor overall and he almost fluffed the winner, but strikers are there to score and he scored.
In general though, he’s past his sell by date
Unlike Ellison!

I was joking. Always liked Nicky Maynard and was surprised to see he was still playing.

Samesies
Looked him up and it seems his best work was done between the ages of 18-24 where he was banging in the goals, then it all dried up and he drifted from club to club not doing a lot until 3 years ago at 31 year of age when he joined Bury and decided to be good again.
Weird how some careers go like that

Pretty much guaranteed that Ellison scores the winner against Morecombe isn't it?

It looks like the drop to League Two did him the world of good, after a lot of seasons of poor goal returns in higher divisions.

windermereROYAL That game was proper old school 70s stuff, pissing down with rain and played direct at 100mph. before the modern tippy tappy shit took hold. loved it, pity there had to be a loser.
