I wasn't saying I believed that was the case, just clutching at straws and not wanting to believe that one of our own could get into this sort of situation.

Also hoping this proves unsubstantiated, but it looks increasingly unlikely that that will be the case. Family member worked at Reading for some time and is pretty upset, Gylfi very much a 'star pupil', always friendly, polite and now of course with a young family, for whom this is devastating.

It's an investigation into 'child sex' allegations. That means the victims, if it is proved, are at least under the age of 17. It is difficult to see persons of that age setting up a honey trap scenario, to what end and what motive. An adult or adults may have the wherewithal or motive to do that, that we don't know, but no such suggestion or arrests of adults have been made.
