You could get away with 'not improved', if you really wanted to, but when you're scoring broadly a goal a game, that is actually okay (and moreover, historically almost unprecedented - Messi and Ronaldo are outliers like Muller, not any kind of normal).

It's one of the sad parts of today's game that his destination may in part be determined by whether or not a club is willing to give Mino Raiola €20m+ for 'negotiating' the deal.
