NathStPaul If you want someone who will guarantee we won't get relegated it is Tony Pulis.

That being said I am not sure what I want less. Us being relegated or having Tony Pulis as our manager.

I fear Paunovic is done here. The signs have been there ever since our win over Bournemouth but he simply doesn't have a clue on how to get back to where we were. Shades of the 4-1 defeat to Fulham under Gomes - but today was even worse

His insistence on playing CB's at FB's is borderline sackable in itself. Tom Holmes is a CB. As is Tom McIntyre. Andy Yiadom is a RB. No-one else in their right mind would choose a CB at RB and a RB at LB when you have a LB on the bench. He might not be ready, but it can't be any worse than what we're seeing

Not even going to get started on Puscas playing up top by himself - it's just a waste of everyone's time but Paunovic isn't flexible enough to adapt

26 points in our last 25 games is borderline relegation form. Not falling for his excuses. This squad has deficiencies but it's not a relegation squad. Time for a new manager

On the plus side according to the BBC today's attendance was around 150,000 which makes it the most well attended game of any football match club, international or otherwise in the entire history of the global game.

Can you picture him working for what we could pay him?

Guys like him and Pulis pretty much guarantee safety so its Hobson's choice. None of us actually want a dinosaur manager but it might be the only answer right now.

Cue the same old David Brent style explanation for this debacle.....

Continuing to play Puscas as a lone striker is insane.... he's a current International Striker....

And I'm not even starting on the defense...

You can draw the cause right the way back to early last season when Paunovic decided the team needed to score more goals to ease pressure on the defence, so started getting Rinomhota and particularly Laurent to play further forward and push on in a more cavalier fashion.

This is the manager who tail end of last season started playing Rinomhota as a RWer isn't it?

The defence has no protection. Moore couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery and the defensive coach thinks standing and watching the six yard box is a strategy to defend corners.

NathStPaul I'm done with Liam Moore. We should be whoring him around to every single Championship club. Get him out before Tuesday at any price.

And earning a disgusting abhorrent £35,000 a week !! A week !!!

Don't know how he can sleep at night, mind you bet he's laughing his golden plated bollox off

Does feel like it might be decision time for the owners

Cannot defend like this. Unacceptable and tbh the fact the MM and LM are still seemingly safe in their CB spots after Bristol was a big concern

Feels like Pauno is done. Out of ideas and not capable of sorting out the defence. It’s been absolutely horrific at the back this year

It’s fairly amusing that Huddersfield fans are talking about a return to the premiership after that performance. Maybe they don’t realise they’ve just thumped the poorest team in the league.

After that performance we’d struggle in League 1 tbh.

6 wins from the last 25 matches. Conceding 3+ goals a game against teams who will be nowhere near the playoffs. Just who on Earth is our defensive coach?
Pauno needs to understand ASAP that if we don't sort out the back 4 and the holding midfielders, we are in big trouble.
Thankfully, a family BBQ stopped me from going to this utter s**t show.

NathStPaul Well this is a dark time. I'm as miserable about the club now more than ever I think.

+1. It’s the most pessimistic I have felt in many years.
get a grip man!
How old are you. Remember Div 4?

We’ve had plenty of darker days...we’re still in the second flight...Well,,,,at least for another 41 games, anyway.

Oh I was there Spizzy. This is the most pessimistic I have felt since Terry the Taxi took us down.

Bunch of bedwetters. The guy has made 1 permanent signing since being here. Give him a few weeks with the players we've got in and then pull the trigger if things are still looking dire. But yes, today was shit.

“This is part of the game and part of becoming mature – for the youngsters, and those who aren’t so young who might have forgotten how this feels, this is a good reminder. But it should only be a reminder – and it should never happen again.”

What is he talking about?

What should never happen again...

Defeat?.... it's happening every week....

So how is he proposing to ensure it doesn't?

Why are people allowed to spout this nonsense and not called out on it?...

Watched enough football over the years to know when the performances week in week out simply aren't good enough. A bunch of one season journeymen that no one elses wants isn't going to save the day.

Helps mature the youngsters... we had 2 players under 24 starting the game, one of whom played 30+ times last season. We were 3-0 by the time any of the actual kids came on.

I've cooled down from earlier, I think Pauno in but he's maybe got until the next International break, finish getting the new players in and now use the 2 weeks productively to get everyone working together, if we don't see a much improved performance against QPR then it will be incredibly worrying signs.
