I haven't seen any of their representatives at any of the away games I've been to this season. In fact, the fans I've interacted with have actually spoken negatively of them when asking me where I choose to sit for home games.

"To add another focus to improve the atmosphere and get fully behind the team, by using both old and new Reading chants to make home games feel like the best away games."

I know you're both on the WUM, but I'm bored...
This was never the aim of C1871, it was to improve the atmosphere at home games, only."To add another focus to improve the atmosphere and get fully behind the team, by using both old and new Reading chants to make home games feel like the best away games."

paultheroyal Only Reading fans could moan about an initiative which actively improve the atmosphere.
Well, i say fans, i use that word loosely.

I am more of a fan then any member of club 1871
I have had a season ticket for 23 years, probably most of them are 16 year old spotty oiks who wanted free tickets from Liam Moore
I have been home and away everywhere with them and do not need to try and provide some fake bullshit atmosphere by standing and clapping with a bunch of entitled sheep who think they are the English version of Lech Poznan
Having a mission statement is pathetic

Zip Club 1871 has worked. Not only is the atmosphere improved but we no longer have away teams completely filling the South Stand and making more noise than the home fans.
The players appreciate it too.

That pretty much sums up the experience and result.
