Royal Rother After Windsor's Saturday's debacle a couple of diehard fans got in touch with the Chairman to voice displeasure and offers of help and he said he would call them back. Trouble is, they tend not be overly polite in these exchanges but hell, it's the passion of football I suppose.
Anyway, guess what? Yep, you're right - no such return call has been made.
A good number of the diehards are vowing not to return until changes are made. Whether they see that through of course remains to be seen. I'll be there on Saturday but may be a tad lonely!
A number also made their displeasure known on social media (tagging the club) - the 'keeper came on apologising for the performance and saying they would be working hard this week to ensure improvements are made, which was appreciated.
Not a word from anyone else although the manager has been fairly open in his press interview. I wasn't there so can't entirely share the fans' pain who did go, but although I think it's a reasonable interview in the circs the guys who have made their minds up don't think he went anywhere near far enough. (They did spend £60 to get there so it's gonna hurt, I get that.)

Tad Showbiz SCR v Guernsey was called off on Thursday due to fears of SCR/Gander Green Lane being waterlogged.
I believe SCR are now travelling to Guernsey next Saturday.

NathStPaul Think I have mentioned it before to you RR, Windsor is a prime area to have a decent football team and I am quite surprised you are where you are right now.
Do the club have a good relationship with Slough Town? Some sort of link with them could help in terms of getting some of their talented youngsters sent over to improve the squad.

Zip Over 9,000 at Wrexham tonight and they are losing. Big pressure on Parky. He is struggling.

84th minute equaliser for Wrexham to see game finish 1-1. Wrexham are 12th in the league currently.
The point didn’t really help their opponents, Chesterfield, who slipped from 2nd to 5th as a result.
Meanwhile Maidenhead drew 0-0 at Yeovil.

......and elsewhere in the NAT Woking bt the 'Daggers' 1-0 and Eastleigh lost 1-0 at Southend.
Grimsby stay top with a 3-2 win at Alty ...and wins for Boreham Wd & Halifax lift them above Dagenham & Redbridge who drop to 4th -
- The Sh!ts won at Dover and hop above Barnet at the bottom.
...was primarily a quiet/lesser cup midweek for the other leagues with only a few fixtures scheduled
I was down at Wrecclesham nr Farnham for a CCL-PS league game:
Badshot Lea 0-2 Jersey Bulls - 'Bulls' look very well organized with a few experienced heads in the line-up.
Previously unbeaten Baggy Lea - were perhaps guilty of overplaying going forward and might have won on another day with a bit more patience on the ball. Were suckered at a corner early 2nd half allowing a free-header on the far post - then undone by a red card as they pressed. 2nd goal around 80' was a fine 25 yd chip over a stranded keeper, as BL lost the ball bringing it out.
Decent crowd of 250 plus on a bracing night
Alton were battered 6-0 at league leaders Brockenhurst in the WESSEX Premier: RWBT shared the points with Lydney in the Hellenic.
In the FA Cup Brackley won their replay 1-0 v Hanley and host Guiseley in the 4th Qualifying Round.
Other 'featured' sides 'out of the hat' for the ties scheduled for 16th Oct :
Southend v Chertsey
Horsham v Woking
Dorking Wanderers v Hayes & Yeading
Maidenhead Utd v Hastings
Hungerford v Bromley
Banbury v Bath
Eastleigh v Folkestone
Bowers & Pitsea v Aldershot
Bedfont Sports' reward for upsetting Sholing on their own turf in their replay last night, is to host Kidderminster.

Sutekh Some game for Chertsey there, real shame it’s not a home game for them but then I presume any gate at Roots Hall would outstrip what Chertsey would get at Alwyns Lane.
