Sanguine Slightly bizarre sight yesterday, as United struggled to create anything up front, and Pogba got himself sent off trying to be the central midfielder that he isn't, of Lingard, Van De Beek and Sancho sat shivering on the bench.

I suggest that fans listen out as the season progresses for the signs that I claim as I suspect that this could be his last as a commentator as right-on Sky will probably use a 25 year-old disabled transgender mixed race reality show runner-up replacement rather than keep such an old boy on..

One of the joys of that day was the look on the faces of Man Utd fans and Fergie when they realised that they had not won the title after all.
If Tyler had been at Man Utd's game he would no doubt have been morose but in the moment at City he clearly forgot himself and football that day was the winner as he got (as we hear repeated so often and was a special moment) excited about an event that he was at.

Sanguine Not the first journalist to air this view, but Liew makes an interesting point about United and Ronaldo. That Ronaldo's individual stats and performances continue to amaze, but that the team is set up for him and in his image, to the detriment of results

That's what kept being said of him at Juventus in his last year (and earlier) but people saw his stats and ignored it. His final year at Juve he scored 29 in 33 league games, yet the team were awful as it was all built around servicing him.
I think it was Lars Sivertsen (Norweigen journo who appears on various pods, radio etc) who, during all the excitement of Ronaldo's move here, kept saying he would score loads of goals but the move wouldn't be a success as you just had to look at Juve's decline to see his wider impact
